Nars Blush in Sex Appeal

Sex Appeal is a very light peachy blush with a hint of pink. It's pigmented but probably won't really work with medium to dark skin tones due to its light shade. It is definitely buildable. On my cheeks, it looks like a darker peach, I'm guessing, as it mixes with my powder foundation shade. It lasts throughout a whole working day and is definitely blendable. Overall, unless you have really pale skin, I don't recommend this.

Best of 2012! Makeup ♥

BB creams
Missha Perfect Cover & Sasatinnie Precious Jewelry - Both have great coverage without getting cakey.
Maybelline Dream Mousse Concealer - Covers my blemishes perfectly
Physicians Formula Healthy Wear Powder Foundation - Covers up my redness while feeling light on my skin
Milani Powder Blush in Pink Craze - A silky, pigmented, affordable beautiful pink blush & Maybelline Dream Bouncy Blush in Fresh Pink - Easy to use and gives me such beautiful natural pink cheeks
NYC Smooth Skin Bronzer - Affordable and doesn't make me look muddy, great for contouring
The Balm Mary-Lou Manizer - A little swipe goes a long way, giving a gorgeous glow

Eye shadow primer
Too Faced Shadow Insurance - Makes my eye shadows pop & last longer
Eye shadows
Wet n Wild Color Icon Trio in Walking on Eggshells - Pigmented and affordable & LA Colors Palette in Serenade - Affordable with my favorite shades for eye shadows
Covergirl Lash Blast Volumizing Waterproof - Gives great volume while holding my curl in place
NYX Super Fat Eye Marker - So easy to use, very black, stays on my eyes without smudging, and no hassle when removing with an eye makeup remover

Lip Balm
Jack Black (Not in photo because I can't find it. Sigh.) - My HG lip balm, keeps my lips moisturized throughout a whole day without feeling heavy on my lips
EOS lip balm in Sweet mint - Perfect base for your lips before applying lipstick/lipcolor since it's moisturizing yet not slippery as other lip balms, so  it doesn't make your lip color slip and slide
Maybelline Baby Lips in Pink Punch - I love using this for a quick application of color when I'm in a hurry to leave the house
Lip Stain
Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain in Cherish - Gives me such a natural tint to my lips while leaving a nice stain throughout the day; I like to apply and leave on a generous layer while doing the rest of my makeup and then blotting off the excess when I finish doing my makeup, just to get that nice natural stain

Maybelline Color Whisper Lip Colors

I was lucky to get my hands on these new lip colors from Maybelline since there were barely any left.
Left to Right: Petal Rebel, Pink Possibilities, Go Nude, One Size Fits Pearl

Basically, these are like Revlon Lip Butters; They are like balm lip sticks. As you can see, One Size Fits Pearl is sheer and was the only shade I had a hard time with in terms of showing up; That is not surprising since it is a rather light shade. They show up true to color, glide on smoothly, and have a nice sheen. The darker they are, the more opaque they are. Compared to Revlon Lip Butters, these Maybelline babies are not as thick and not as opaque. Although, I find them a little more comforting on my lips than the Revlon Lip Butters.

Have you tried any of the Maybelline Color Whispers?
What's your favorite shade?

Sephora Haul

Hi everyone! I'm back home from California! Of course, I did some shopping and I felt like a kid in a candy store when I was in Sephora! Here's some stuff I got; I can't wait to use them, but as a beauty blogger, of course we do not like to touch our makeup until we take photos of them for our blog. Haha!
After reading all the reviews and seeing a bunch of swatches, I decided to get this over the original Naked palette since I prefer lighter shades. Maybe I'll get the original Naked palette sometime in the future.
Out of all the Too Faced palettes, this was the one on wishlist for the longest time.
I have really oily eye lids and since watching Ingrid, I remember her having the same problem. She recommended this primer in one of her videos since it worked the best for her compared to the other eye shadow primers she's tried.
I swatched this and oh my, how smooth and pigmented! I wanted another shade as well but they ran out of it. This one's in Nymph.
Nars Sex Appeal blush was on my wishlist since I saw Makeupbyelli's video on her favorite blushes.
I got the Milk Chocolate version which is lighter than the original.
I've wanted a Tarte blush for the longest time now and since I wanted a shade that I don't have in my collection, I chose Exposed. I heard a lot of great reviews on this shade so I hope it lives up to the hype.
